Traveling with Hazy Humid Day in Jinguashi

This summer, Japanese contemporary artist Yoshitomo Nara brings his long-term project "Traveling with Hazy Humid Day" to northern Taiwan. The exhibition is held at the META Space "Jinshui 361" in Jinguashi, New Taipei City, and runs from June 28 to September 28. Be sure to visit before the exhibition ends!

Yoshitomo Nara first unveiled his painting "Hazy Humid Day," created specifically for Taiwan, in 2021. This artwork reflects his deep emotional connection to Taiwan.

"Traveling with Hazy Humid Day" is a long-term touring project launched in 2023, planned to span ten years and travel across Taiwan. Each stop of the exhibition features unique content. For this Jinguashi exhibition, Yoshitomo Nara personally came to Taiwan to oversee the setup, tailoring the experience to the characteristics of the venue and the local landscape and sentiments, ensuring each exhibition offers a distinct viewing experience.
