Can you believe I finally made it back to Japan after 25 years? Time flies! From the moment I landed, I realized Tokyo is just as iconic as ever, but wow—the crowds have leveled up! Shinjuku and Shibuya used to be my go-to hangouts, but these days it’s like swimming through a sea of people. Not the vibe I’m chasing anymore 😅
Here’s my new fav Tokyo itinerary hack: skip the packed hotspots and head for chill zones like Ginza and Asakusa. Ginza (Chuo City, Tokyo 104-0061, Japan) is serving posh city feels without the push-and-shove. The cafés and boutiques here are sooo good!
But the real MVP is Machida, especially if you’re a Snoopy fan! A quick escape from the city’s hustle takes you to the Snoopy Museum Tokyo (3 Chome-1-4 Tsuruma, Machida, Tokyo 194-0004, Japan). It’s open daily, with hours 10:00-18:00 (last admission 17:30) on weekdays and 10:00-19:00 (last admission 18:30) on weekends. If you love Peanuts nostalgia, this spot is a must—prepare for major cuteness overload 🥰
Honestly, Tokyo’s outskirts are where the chill vibes are hiding. If you wanna explore stress-free, go beyond the city center and discover new gems. For more Tokyo inspo and tips, check out trip.com—they’ve got you covered for all the latest spots!
Trust me, the best Tokyo adventure is just outside the crowd.
