Kiyomuzu Temple is one the oldest Buddhist temples in Tokyo, located in Ueno Park. It is home to the goddess Kosodate, the protector of childbearing and pregnant women. The temple is well-known for its Hello Kitty lucky charm. As the temple is situated on a hill, you would need to climb the stairs to reach there. Stunning view from the temple, especially during autumn when the maple tree leaves turn a deep red. I love the circle pine tree in front of the temple, so artistic. Highly recommended to include this in your itinerary Ueno 1 day trip. It is a small temple, it only takes about 10 minutes to visit this beautiful temple and get a lucky charm especially for those who would like to conceive.
