This public facility is jointly operated by Japan Post Co., Ltd. and the University Museum, The University of Tokyo. It's located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the Marunouchi JP Tower (formerly the Tokyo Central Post Office building) and is free to visit.
Photography is generally prohibited, but there are some areas where it is permitted.
Opening Hours: 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM (open until 8:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays)
Closed: Mondays (closed the following day if Monday is a national holiday), New Year's holidays, and other days designated by the museum. Opening hours are subject to change, so it's best to check the official website before visiting.
I stopped in to kill some time, just a one-minute walk from the Marunouchi South Exit of JR Tokyo Station, but there were so many exhibits that I didn't have enough time.
