The Saburomaru Distillery is located in Toyama Prefecture. It was founded in 1952 and is the only distillery in Hokuriku that continues to produce single malt whiskey. It is operated by Wakatsuru Shuzo and is famous for its heavily peated style. Its representative brands are "Saburomaru" and "Gyugetsu".
I personally recommend visiting the Saburomaru Distillery. After the visit, you can also go to the restaurant next door for dinner. It is recommended to spend some time here, but you also need to make an appointment in advance. Sometimes you can also try limited edition wines. I think it is very cost-effective~
