Come to Wanshan, Tongren to find a peaceful journey. Staying at the right hotel can truly double your travel happiness! This time, I accidentally stayed at "Shidu Hotel," which was a complete surprise and a must-share for friends planning to visit.

The location is incredibly convenient! It's only about a 15-minute drive from Tongren Zhongnanmen Ancient City, and about 30 minutes by car to Wanshan Mercury Mine Ruins and Zhusha Ancient Town. No need to get up early to rush; you can start your day leisurely. Even better, watching the mist slowly lift over the mountains offers an immersive natural experience that’s more healing than just checking off tourist spots.

The room is super comfortable! I chose the basic room type, which was spacious and not claustrophobic. The bedding is soft and skin-friendly. After a full day of sightseeing, I could fall asleep soundly right away. The bathroom has a clean wet and dry separation, and comes with thoughtful details like disposable bath towels, face towels, and a complimentary mini bar—really loved it. My favorite part was the huge projector in the room. Best of all, the VIP access was already set up. In many hotels, you have to activate memberships yourself for the TV or projector, but here it was ready to go. At night, I relaxed with a face mask while organizing travel photos—so cozy and relaxing.

The service warmed my heart! I booked the hotel in advance, and the staff kindly informed me about the local weather and reminded me to bring warm clothes. It was truly thoughtful.

The breakfast isn’t a luxurious buffet, but the variety is solid, featuring local handmade rice noodles, freshly cooked noodles, and a carefully balanced nutritious meal. After eating well, you’ll be full of energy for the day.

If you come to Tongren and don’t want to stay in the same old chain hotels, want comfort, and want to feel some local warmth, Shidu Hotel is definitely the place! Next time I visit Tongren, I will definitely choose here again~
