Wuzhen - the beauty of the past 🇨🇳

This Watertown is bigger than others and there are two sections - east 东门 and west gate 西门. We decided to enter the west gate where we stayed the whole day and which is also beautiful at night with all the lights.
Just stroll through the lanes and you will find so many hidden places to take pictures or sit down by the canal, relax and have a drink.
Inside there is also the Muxin Art Museum (photo 15) and the Euzhen Grand Theater (Photo 16)

Best by car or train to Tongxiang or Jiaxing station

Hotels -
There are many guesthouses and hotels inside and next time we will definitely overnight there since the entrance fee is much cheaper.
We stayed at the My Light Hostel (photo 17-20) which is meters away from the East gate entrance and is absolutely a great value. The breakfast has a good choice even bread and coffee.
Food & Restaurants -
We had lunch at 75幢私房菜馆 75zhuang si fang cai guan (photo 17-20), 41 Jiangjunmiao street which has a great view of the canal and is also a guesthouse. It is a hidden gem and not so easy to find however the food is so delicious We had their signature dish which is fish soup with doufu and green vegetables
Shopping -
There are many shops that sell handicrafts (photo 14&15) and if you are lucky you can even watch how they are made.
