🛶 Take a boat trip and walk around the ancient city of Wuzhen.

🏡 Wuzhen Water City or the ancient city of Wuzhen is an ancient village located in Zhejiang Province, China, not far from Shanghai. It is a village where you can experience the traditional Chinese atmosphere. The houses in Wuzhen are still traditional, preserving the ancient Chinese architecture very well, including old wooden houses, old-style shops, and stone bridges crossing the river.

🚌 Travel from Shanghai: Private car or bus, about 1.5 - 2 hours. If traveling by bus, you can take a bus from Shanghai Pudong Station directly to Wuzhen.

💰 Ancient city entrance fee: 150 yuan / person
💰 River cruise fee: 60 yuan / person (480 yuan / boat, 8 people)

‼️ When we went, we couldn't come out to take pictures in front of the boat while on the boat. We could only stay on the boat to see the ancient city on both sides of the canal.

❤️ The ancient city is quite large. There are many souvenir shops. We tried to bargain and didn't get much of a discount. It may be because it is a tourist city. It takes about half a day to visit.
