Enjoy spectacular views of the Seto Inland Sea from the elevated grounds and the stone steps.

The shrine is dedicated to the gods of good relationships and household safety.

It was the setting for the film "Otoko wa Tsurai yo" (It's Tough Being a Man) and is also a sacred place for the anime "Teasing Master Takagi-san."

Apparently, there was even a limited edition goshuin (temple seal) featuring the main character, Takagi-san.

Since it was the day before the summer festival,
when I asked for a goshuin, I was also given some sweets.
