There's a spectacular spot to look down on the Angel Road scene from even higher up, which we visited the day before.

This is Tomioka Hachiman Shrine, selected as one of the Top Ten Views of Sanuki.

You can get there by car or by climbing the stairs from the bottom.

It was midsummer. We went up by car.

Passing through the torii gate to the main shrine... Looking back, we were greeted by a spectacular view.

Angel Road, connecting the four islands of Bentenjima, Kojima, Nakajima, and Oyoshima, was clearly visible.
