Gunma Attractions: Watarase Keikoku Railway Sightseeing Train

This is a unique sightseeing train. We visited this unmanned station, which connects Kiryu Station in Gunma Prefecture to Matou Station in Tochigi Prefecture. Along the way, you can quietly enjoy the natural beauty of the valley on both sides.

The train operates only on specific dates, so remember to book in advance during weekends or peak travel seasons to avoid disappointment. Along the route, you can also visit attractions like Takatsudo Gorge, Ashio Copper Mine, and Mizunuma Station Hot Springs.
