Bromo - Ijen trip where we didn't sleep much but the view was amazing.

🏔️ Bromo Trip, the breath of the gods. I've heard this phrase for a long time. I followed the photos from the photographers. They came out so beautiful and unique that I almost didn't think this place was in ASEAN, Indonesia. We had a connecting flight in Singapore because it's convenient for connecting flights and arrived in Surabaya in the morning. Our guide was already waiting to greet us. After getting to know each other a bit, we traveled to our first stop, Madakaripura Waterfall, a waterfall with an absolutely stunning view, like being in another world. Then we continued our journey to Bromo. The journey took quite a long time. We arrived at our accommodation around 6:00 AM because the waterfall took quite a long time. The morning light, mist, and cold wind made for the first time with beautiful pictures. Although this place is not very far, we had to wake up at 2:00 AM to take a jeep up the mountain to reserve a photo spot and a viewpoint before anyone else because it was so crowded. We only had one parking spot for the morning light. After that, we went down to the desert below to take some beautiful pictures with the jeep before moving closer to the mountain. You can either walk up or ride horses to shorten the distance. Of course, we chose horses. 555 But we still squeezed in with the crowds on the way up to the crater to get a close-up view. But to be honest, the top was quite crowded, and there were places where walking wasn't allowed because the path was narrow. So we decided to come down, return to the accommodation, eat, shower, and then hurriedly continue our next trip, the Ijen Tour.
Heading forward, even though there's a special road, it wasn't finished yet. It took us until after 5:00 PM to reach Ijen. To our surprise, our guide had scheduled an 11:00 PM meeting with us. We set off for the trailhead at the top of Ijen Mountain. We reached the check-in point around 1:00 AM, and our guide handed out gas masks because we were going down to see the blue fire. It actually looked like a gas stove or a Buddha image casting ceremony, haha. But we got a chance to exercise and enjoy the morning view. The total round-trip distance was over 6 km. Before we could even recover from the exhaustion, we had to continue our journey to Bali by ferry! Let's get back to our diving trip! 📌 Here's our plan for the Bromo - Ijen trip.
