Sunrise over Mount Bromo ⛰️

This is one you will want to wake up for! The sunrise view is absoltely spectacular. The jeep ride across the sea of sand too was quite an adventure, not a comfortable one, but you will be rewarded with the exhillirating sunrise panorama 🧡

Mount Bromo is arguably Indonesia’s most iconic mountain. This was my first experience so close to an active volcano's crater! 🌄

Getting there: Mount Bromo can be reached from the city of Malang and Surabaya, both major cities in Indonesia with easy accessible airports. Suggest to stay nearby, you will need to start as early as 3am! Book a local tour. Easier. Mornings can be cold (check online per season), dress adequately. There are plenty of street vendors renting additional cold coat, selling hat, scarf, gloves, etc if needed.
