
Xiaoheijiang Forest Park, located at the border of Pu'er and Jinggu counties, covers 6,245 hectares and is managed by the Weiguo Forestry Bureau of Simao Prefecture. Over the years, thanks to the Weiguo Forestry Bureau's emphasis on forest resource conservation, the Xiaoheijiang forest area has maintained its beautiful scenery of evergreen mountains and flowing waters, attracting a growing number of tourists.
In order to build the Xiaoheijiang forest area into a tourist attraction in Simao area and provide people with a leisure and entertainment place to return to nature and enjoy eco-tourism, the Pu'er Weiguo Forestry Bureau, in accordance with the state's requirements for developing forest area attractions and forest tourism, while further protecting the forest resources in the Xiaoheijiang forest area, raised funds to develop and build the Xiaoheijiang Forest Park. Attractions such as the Forest Viewing Pavilion, American Pine Forest, Winding Path, Tea Sage's Words, Puxian Temple, and Wangjiang Pavilion have now been built.
The Xiaoheihe Forest Park has a subtropical monsoon humid climate. It is characterized by vast natural primeval forests and rich Buddhist culture. It is an excellent place for tourists to climb mountains, escape the summer heat, and undergo religious baptism. It is suitable for travel in all seasons.
