[Toyama] A cruise that offers an experience that can only be found here in Japan

📍Fuigan Suijo Line, Toyama
The "Fuigan Suijo Line" is a canal cruise that connects the Fugan Canal Ring Park and the port town of Iwase area. It's a relaxing 1-hour boat trip where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of nature!
If you go during cherry blossom season, you can also enjoy cherry blossom viewing from the boat.🌸
The Nakajima Lock, installed during the cruise, is a Panama Canal-style lock that adjusts the water level difference with two pairs of doors and is designated as a national important cultural property!
The water level adjustment at Nakajima Lock is just like a "water elevator"!!!
You can experience a "water elevator" with an impressive water level difference of 2.5m♡
(3rd photo)
Apparently, this is the only place in Japan where you can experience this😆💫
It took about 5 minutes for the water to rise steadily, and when the water level reached the same level, the doors opened!
On a clear day, you can see the Tateyama mountain range from the boat⛰️
