Tian Tan Buddha was built in 1993 and is now the mai center of Buddhism in Hong Kong. The Buddha is a large bronze statue standing 34-meter high, and the ground below is surrounded by smaller bronze statues of offering flowers, incense, candles, lanterns, fruits, and music to the Buddha, symbolising the Six Perfections of the Buddha's Enlightenment: generosity, morality, patience, enthusiasm, meditation and wisdom. If anyone comes to Hong Kong, recommend coming to worship and ask for blessings from the Tian Tan Buddha.
Open every day from time: 10:00am to 17:30pm.
