Toyooka city - one worth a few days of vacation

📍It’s quite an isolated gem of Hyogo prefecture, full of pleasant surprises. It was very worthy of a 2 hour journey by train from Himeji station.
💞But I recommend to stay maybe a couple of days, to fully immerse in and enjoy this pretty city.

The number of times we ran into delicious meals was astounding. The people there love healthy oishii food and they talk and live it.
To all the bag geeks, you must visit Kaban street, literally translated as Bag street, and it doesn’t disappoint!
After the kaban shopping, don’t miss a night out at Bar Re:plus+, a bar stocked with excellent alcohol especially good whisky at very fair prices. And we also had worthwhile chats with some locals there.

Then I conclude with my favorite part on this journey, where we rented bicycles to visit Kounotorinosato to see the white oriental birds. The cycling path was wide and safe and full of beautiful views of mountains, rivers, rice fields, and cute neighborhoods.
