I love exploring unique hotels, and this time I was in Kinosaki, Japan, where I came across Nishimuraya Honkan, Kinosaki Onsen. It was an amazing experience.
The hotel is a wooden structure with an elegant, rustic charm. It has been weathered by time and blends in with the surrounding natural environment, exuding a sense of tranquility and peace. As I walked into the courtyard, I was greeted by a typical Japanese rock garden, with white sand, unique stone formations, and pine trees swaying gently in the breeze. The sound of birds chirping filled the air, and every corner was full of Zen, making me want to stop and take in the beauty.
The warm wooden tones of the room created a cozy atmosphere. The tatami mats were soft and comfortable, and the bed was carefully made, providing a perfect place to rest after a long journey. The room was furnished with traditional wooden furniture, and the paper sliding doors let in soft light. There was also a set of exquisite tea utensils by the window, where I could sit and enjoy a cup of hot tea while admiring the seasonal views of the courtyard.
The hot springs are a highlight of Nishimuraya Honkan. The water is of excellent quality, rich in minerals, and very beneficial to the body. The indoor hot springs are spacious and bright, with complete facilities for relaxation. The outdoor hot springs are surrounded by lush greenery, offering great privacy. Soaking in the steaming hot spring water, feeling the mountain breeze, and listening to the sounds of nature, I felt as if I was cut off from the world, and all my worries were gone. It was a truly healing experience.
The food was also unforgettable. Dinner was authentic kaiseki cuisine, with each dish as exquisite as a work of art. From the presentation to the combination of ingredients, everything was carefully crafted. The fresh sashimi and juicy wagyu beef were delicious, and I could taste the true flavors of the ingredients. Breakfast was a rich Japanese set meal, with miso soup, rice, and various side dishes. It was simple yet full of homey flavors, giving me energy for the day ahead.
The service at the hotel was also very attentive. The staff were friendly and welcoming, from the detailed guidance during check-in to the thoughtful care during my stay. They made me feel at home. Whether it was booking activities in the area or answering questions, they responded quickly and professionally, making me feel comfortable.
My stay at Nishimuraya Honkan, Kinosaki Onsen, allowed me to experience the charm of traditional Japanese hot spring culture. It is not just a place to stay, but a sanctuary for the mind and body. If you are looking for a poetic and peaceful trip, I highly recommend visiting here. I am sure you will be enchanted by the beauty of this place.
