Kinosaki Onsen near Osaka

Kinosaki Onsen in Hyogo Prefecture, near Osaka, is a charming hot spring town with a history of 1,300 years. It features seven public baths♨️. Strolling under willow trees and along the Otani River offers stunning scenery and a relaxing atmosphere. This is undoubtedly one of the most captivating hot spring destinations I've ever visited.

The town's architecture boasts a rich history, and every street exudes the essence of a traditional hot spring town. Once you visit, you'll be deeply enchanted by its charm.

Walking around the town in a yukata, surrounded by a strong sense of Japanese tradition, is an experience full of allure. Here, you can wear a yukata and stroll through the streets anytime, anywhere.

Each season brings different ingredients, especially the town's abundant fresh seafood and local specialties like Matsuba crab, Tajima beef, and Izushi soba noodles.

It takes 2.5 hours to travel from Kyoto.
