Rasa Ria Reserve By Shangri-la

My husband and I stayed at the Rasa Ria this month. It was our 50th wedding anniversary so we paid extra and stayed in the Ocean wing which is worth the extra money especially if you are a couple. It is quite a bit quieter than the garden wing but that is what we wanted out of our holiday. The staff from Lidia who kept our room looking great and not forgetting Charles and all the staff in the Oceano restaurant who went out of their way to making our stay the most memorable time we have had. And not forgetting the staff on reception who always had a smile for you whenever you approached them.

The Shangri-la definitely lives up to its name with this hotel.
The gardens, and the beach were very clean. I don’t know how many outside workers they have got but it really shows how manicured it looks.
We have traveled around a lot of Asia but the people on Borneo have got to be the most warmest people we have met.

We are hoping to go back there again next year.
