MARS?! No, it’s Turpan, Xinjiang 🇨🇳

Wow 🤩 We felt like we have stepped foot on Mars! This is not a famous tourist spot yet so there won’t be a lot of visitors blocking your photos.

There were only a few cars we saw in this valley and phone signal becomes so patchy in this area of Turpan.

I don’t think there’s a public bus going to this place as we didn’t see one. Most of the cars we saw were either private cars or rented taxis.

Ticket price: 40 rmb each
Length of visit: 2 hours
SUGGESTION: book through your hotel or hostel. Normally there are shared tour or private ones. We got a car by ourself for 300 rmb visiting 4 tourist spots in Turpan and this was our last stop. It was really worth it. If you are with your friends then you can share the cost.

Double check with trip app as well if they offer any tour or arranged car to this place.
