💎 The World's Largest Cliff-Carved Buddha Image
The highlight that makes Wat Khao Tham Thiam famous is the "Phra Phuttha Pusyakhiri Sri Suwannaphum" (Luang Pho U Thong), a Buddha image in the posture of prostrating to his mother. It's carved into the cliff face of Khao Tham Thiam (Flying Dragon Cliff). With its imposing size, it stands 108 meters tall and has a lap width of 65 meters, making it the largest Buddha image in Thailand. Some sources even say it's the largest in the world. Standing beneath this majestic Buddha image will inspire a sense of faith and awe.
