✨️Sukhbaatar Square✨️(Сүхбаатарын талбай) is a square named after General Sukhbaatar, a figure respected by Mongolians. A bronze statue of General Sukhbaatar on horseback stands in the center of the square. General Sukhbaatar contributed greatly to Mongolia's independence from China and Russia. There is even a city in northern Mongolia named after him. The name of the square was officially changed to 'Genghis Khan Square' by the city authorities around 2013, but after much controversy, it was eventually called by its original name.
