Today, I have a date with autumn

As soon as the car stopped in the parking lot, we were frozen in place by the scene before us—endless hills of red and yellow bursting into view, so beautiful it took our breath away.
The red is from the maple forest, with leaves like small flames burning brightly, clustered on the branches. When the wind blows, the whole tree’s “flames” sway, and even the air seems to be warmed. The yellow comes from the ginkgo trees, their fan-shaped leaves carpeting the ground, rustling underfoot. Looking up, the golden canopy shines like a gilded edge framing the sky.
What was supposed to be a chance detour turned into an encounter with the ultimate autumn scenery. Amid the red and yellow, there’s no sign of deliberate carving, only nature’s most generous gift. This sudden surprise makes every step a cherished moment with autumn.
