London to Oxford – Where History Meets Harmony

One of my favourite weekend trips is from London Paddington to Oxford. It’s just under an hour, but the moment I get there, it’s all about golden stone buildings, quiet courtyards, and ancient libraries. I usually grab coffee near Broad Street, wander through the covered market, then maybe visit the Ashmolean. The Great Western Railway service is quick and smooth – ideal when you need a little history and serenity, far from London’s rush. A timeless escape that’s always worth the ticket.
