Recommended by Okinawa's Hipsters: Minatogawa Foreigners' Residential Area

This place isn't big, so you can plan an hour for leisurely strolling and photo-taking. Various former US military dormitories have been transformed into hipster shops. Every door is a surprise. I tried Big Bird Coffee (the iced Americano is delicious). I waited in line for the popular cannoli (it's truly delicious! Unfortunately, they only have three of each cute seasonal design).

The blue sky and the unique houses make any photo a hit! Highly recommended! But it's incredibly hot 😂 The sun will probably be the last thing that'll keep you away. #Okinawa #MinatogawaForeignResidentialGarden #self-drivingtrip
