Fantasyland - Tokyo DisneySea

This August, I traveled to Tokyo for the first time. This trip to DisneySea was originally just to accompany my niece. I had already prepared myself mentally that I would just queue with her, carry things, help take photos, and pay for the bills. But once we arrived, I felt like a kid again and was completely immersed in this dreamland. When traveling, I sometimes think of my busy work in Hong Kong, but under the magic of Disney, I forget all about it. Here are some amusement facilities for you.

I highly recommend Soaring: Fantastic Flight, a journey around the world in just a few minutes. I felt very excited after playing the game and was extremely tempted to quit my job and go traveling. We paid for the fast pass and it was well worth it. It will be one of the must-try attractions next time I come.

Journey to the centre of the Earth. I definitely bought the fast playthrough just because of its name. I personally have no immunity to topics related to earthquakes and volcanoes. This high-speed journey to the center of the earth is very exciting and the scenery is unparalleled.

Aquatopia, a fun water boat. When I was waiting in line, I didn’t think much of it when I saw other people waiting. When I got on the funny boat, it kept spinning and turning, and I couldn't predict its path. It was very fun! This will get you wet, but since you are going to play, don't worry too much! It feels great to get wet after playing (in the summer 😄).

Toy Story Mania! I also paid for a fast pass for this one. I also played it with great enthusiasm and had a good experience. But it's just a shooting game. I've already played a few shooting games in Odaiba Joypolis, so after playing it, I felt that I don't need to play it next time I come. The rides at Joypolis don’t keep moving forward and turning, the ones at Disney are more fun.

I kind of regret not playing Tower of Terror, because there are conditions for buying a quick pass, and you can only buy it once every hour. I discussed this with my nieces for a long time, but they didn't have the courage to play it. As a result, when I decided to play it alone, it was too late to buy tickets and they were full. The queue was too long and the weather was too hot. It was very tiring to queue outdoors for so long. In August this year, the temperature in Tokyo was often 36 or 37 degrees!

As for food, it should be due to the exchange rate. I think food is not expensive. Lunch and dinner cost an average of HK$60-100 per person. But we all eat fast food. I had originally planned to eat at least one meal at a restaurant, but when I wanted to dine, I found out that the better restaurants required reservations. In addition, we ate a lot of snacks, such as popcorn, ice cream, etc.

I seldom go to amusement parks, but I think Tokyo Disneyland is a family-friendly attraction worth visiting again and again. Sincerely recommend it to everyone. We also went to Tokyo Disneyland. After visiting both parks, my nieces actually said they were considering not renewing their annual passes for Hong Kong Disneyland! Alas, I feel a little sorry for Hong Kong Disneyland.

I didn't do any preparation this time so I only played about half of the rides. And new rides will be launched in spring 2024, giving you plenty of reason to come back next year.
