History of Nang Bread in Xinjiang 🇨🇳

Wow, I never realized that Uyghur people call their Nan Bread as Nang. Whenever we went to Xinjiang restaurants we aways say Nan. Well, now we know.

Walking around Urumqi, it is really impossible not to see Nang bread around as it is the Uyghur people’s staple food. I’m telling you, these bread are so tasty!

What is so interesting as well is they make it in various forms and shapes as well. Just fascinating to see.

Location: you will never miss this as it is right by ine of the entrances of the grand bazaar in Urumqi. I realy suggest that you go in and learn about Nang bread . They have snack stalls inside so if you get peckish you can just quickly grab one.
