Strolling through the Grand Bazaar in Urumqi

One of the highlights when visiting Northern Xinjiang, particularly in Urumqi, is taking a leisurely walk, snapping photos, and shopping for souvenirs at the Grand Bazaar (Xinjiang International Grand Bazaar). This large Islamic market is open from 9:30 AM to midnight and offers a wide variety of dried fruits, jewelry, clothing, and local foods. Among the must-try items are naan bread and other Xinjiang specialties, which are perfect souvenirs to bring back home.
