Name / Elevation: Seceda is a mountain / ridge in the Odle (Geisler) Group in the Dolomites. Its summit is 2,519 metres above sea level.
Region: It’s in Val Gardena (Gröden), South Tyrol (Alto Adige), northern Italy, part of the Puez‑Odle Nature Park, which is in the UNESCO‑protected Dolomites.
Characteristics: The mountain has steep, dramatic cliffs on its north and west sides; on its southern side, there are wide alpine meadows (high pastures) and gentler terrain. Seceda Is Very Popular.
Spectacular panoramic views — from the summit and ridgelines you see sweeping vistas of the jagged Odle peaks, nearby Dolomites massifs, and valleys below. It’s especially famous for sunrise/sunset / alpenglow photos.
