Val Gardena

Seceda in the Dolomites (Val Gardena, South Tyrol, Italy) is very popular, and for good reason.

Seceda (approx. 2,519 m above sea level) provides dramatic alpine vistas, including the famous jagged ridges of the Odle Peaks (Geisler) in the background.

It’s relatively accessible: you can go up by cable car/gondola from the valley village of Ortisei (St. Ulrich) in Val Gardena.

Wide variety of hiking and outdoor‑options: from short walks at the summit station to longer ridge trails, hiking loops, and winter ski terrain.

It has become a go‑to “photo‑spot” — scenic boardwalks, panoramic viewpoints, social media images, etc.
