The Seceda mountain ridge is a dramatic, high-altitude peak in the Puez-Geisler Nature Park in Italy's Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Known for its sharp, saw-toothed cliffs and rolling alpine meadows, it offers some of the most iconic and panoramic views in the entire mountain range. The Seceda area is of immense scientific value, with rock layers that tell the geological history of the Dolomites. Fossils found near the summit, including a giant marine reptile, show that the area was once an ancient seabed.
