I was curious to see what’s inside the Grandmaster’s Palace in Malta. After going through an airport-style security check and paying 12 euros, I wandered inside and was amazed by the beautiful details and design.
The Grandmaster’s Palace in Valletta, Malta, is one of the island’s most historic and impressive buildings. Built in the 16th century, it served as the residence of the Grand Masters of the Order of St. John and later became the seat of government.
Tourist tips:
🤑Entry costs around €12, and you’ll go through an airport-style security check.
☀️Visit early in the day to avoid crowds.
⏰Allow 1–2 hours to explore the palace and its armory at a relaxed pace.
📸Photography is allowed in most areas, but check signs for restrictions.
🚶Combine your visit with a walk around St. George’s Square right outside for great photo spots.
