The smallest country in the world, Vatican City 🇻🇦

Vatican City, the "smallest country in the world," is located right next to Rome!

The scale of St. Peter's Basilica, both inside and out, was amazing, and I was completely overwhelmed✨

I recommend going first thing in the morning, as there are fewer people and you can take your time looking around! By the time I left, there was a very long line...

Another thing that left an impression on me was the yellow postbox that is only available in the Vatican! You can send postcards from here, so why not write a letter to yourself or a friend as a memento of your trip✉️

ℹ️
・Access: Walkable from central Rome. The nearest station is Ottaviano Station on the subway line A
・Admission fee: Free for St. Peter's Basilica, paid for the dome and museum (smooth if you make a reservation online)
・Time required: Half a day to a full day
・Clothing: Wear clothes that cover your shoulders and knees!
・Closed days: The museum is closed on Sundays and public holidays, and the last Sunday of the month is a free admission day and gets very crowded.
・Yellow postboxes: Around St. Peter's Square
