Wat Si Muang, Vientiane, Laos

Wat Si Muang, also known as Wat Sri Muang, is a royal temple in Vientiane, Laos. It features beautiful architecture and is a place of worship for both locals and tourists. It is considered one of the 'Five Sris,' which include Sri Muang, Sri Phun, Sri Than, Si Bua Ban, and Sri Hom. In ancient times, important royal ceremonies, such as coronations, required holy water from all five temples for the Buddhist consecration ceremony.
