Recommended Café at Vientiane Station

Vientiane Station, part of the China-Laos Railway 🚃, was the station I used when traveling from Vientiane to Luang Prabang 🙆♀️.

The railway is often fully booked, especially close to departure, and I heard that the station has airport-level baggage checks. So, I made sure to arrive at the station with plenty of time to spare 🏃♂️.

In reality, the baggage check was quick, leaving me with about an hour and a half of waiting time 😂.

There were several cafés at the station, and given how well-equipped the station was, I expected airport-level prices. Hesitantly, I checked the menu and was pleasantly surprised by the affordability 👏.

I ordered an Oreo Matcha Milk, which cost 48,000 kip (around 300 yen)! What's more, it was handmade rather than machine-made 😻. The matcha flavor was rich and exceeded my expectations 🍵💓.

The café also offered WiFi 🛜.
