One of Sigatoka’s hidden treasures, the Tavuni Hill Fort offers a look into the history of Fiji and one of its connections with Tonga.
Although it touristic position as a place to visit is long-gone, its pure magic is still here, and with the local village is trying to re-establish it walking paths and stops, your visit to this ancient place can help with this.
Tavuni Hill is a bit of a climb, but we’ll worth it. Whilst there you can visit the ‘Killing Stones’, see the remnants of where the houses stood, and then take a break at the Chief’s tomb overlooking the beautiful Singatoka River and its stunning valleys known as the Salad Bowl of Fiji.
Off the beaten track and we’ll worth a visit.
