The first shrine in Kii Province, the deity enshrined here is Itakeru no Mikoto, the god of trees who is said to have traveled around the country planting trees.

In honor of the fact that Itakeru no Mikoto helped Okuninushi no Mikoto crawl through the tree's legs and saved him from a crisis, you can experience crawling through the tree's legs😉👍

-For those who wish to experience crawling through the tree's legs, a certificate can be issued at the shrine office (charge: 100 yen)
-There is chainsaw art based on the 12 zodiac animals.
-Video recording🎥 is prohibited within the grounds.

A shrine located in a place rich in nature. There is a sacred pond, and tree-related items are scattered throughout the grounds!
