⛩️Introduction to the Shrine
Shizuhi Shrine is an auxiliary shrine of Kamayama Shrine.
The deity worshipped here is Kagutsuchi no Kami.
It was listed as a Meishin Taisha shrine, but was abolished and later rebuilt by the Wakayama Domain. It is currently managed by Kamayama Shrine.
🗺️Shrine highlights
・It is at the end of a very steep road!
・Sneakers👟 are a must.
・Goshuin stamps are written and distributed at Kamayama Shrine.
💗Thoughts on visiting
The slope was steeper than I expected, and it was a tough place for people who don't exercise regularly. However, once the bamboo forest 🎋 came into view, it was very picturesque, and the grounds were filled with fresh air!
