Located in Yanjing Village, Wanrong County, Yuncheng City, Shanxi Province, the Li Family Courtyard is the private residence of Li Zi Yong, a wealthy merchant in southern Shanxi. Built during the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China, it's open to the public for free on working days, yet sees few visitors. Though less famous than the Qiao Family Courtyard, it boasts a size equivalent to 10 Qiao Family Courtyards. Designed as a vertical shaft-style, wealth-accumulating courtyard, it incorporates Huizhou architectural elements, blending northern and southern Chinese styles. Its brick, stone, wood, and iron decorations are particularly noteworthy.
