Palace of Culture and Science — Warsaw’s Iconic Skyline Landmark 🏛️🌆

#hellohalloween

Standing before the Palace of Culture and Science, I couldn’t help but feel dwarfed by its sheer scale — a towering symbol of Warsaw’s history and ambition. Built in the 1950s, this Soviet-era skyscraper combines art deco details with monumental architecture, making it both awe-inspiring and controversial. 🏙️✨

Inside, you can explore theaters, museums, and cinemas, but the observation deck on the 30th floor stole my heart. From up there, the Warsaw skyline stretches endlessly, blending historic streets, modern towers, and the winding Vistula River — a perfect photo opportunity. 📸

📍Location: Plac Defilad 1, Warsaw
🕓 Opening hours: Daily, 10:00–20:00
🎟️ Entry: Around €5–€10 for the observation deck

Visiting it feels like standing at the crossroads of history, politics, and modern city life, all in one monumental frame.
