Walking into the Weihua Uprising Memorial Hall is like opening an epic scroll woven with blood and ideals. The gray-white building is solemn and majestic, and the documents, images, and sculptures within recount the peasant revolution that rocked Guanzhong in 1928. The thick walls seem to still hold the echoes of the gunfire of that year, and every photograph and relic carries a burning conviction.
I lingered for a long time before the "Weihua Uprising Heroes List," gazing at the names of those young and resolute men, their unwavering resolve surfacing in my mind. Outside the window, the setting sun shone on the red flag, and in the wind, I could still hear the cry of "For the people." As I left the hall, my heart welled up not only with respect for the martyrs but also with a heavy thought: Peace is hard-won, and its memory must endure.
