Hainan, a place of unexpected cultural prosperity - Hainan Island self-driving tour

What I didn't expect was that there are such cultural sites on Hainan Island.
I remember many years ago, when I went to Hainan, I visited the Tomb of Hai Rui, and I felt that Hainan was just a place of exile, and there would be no cultural tradition.
This trip to Hainan completely changed my inherent impression.
The most shocking is the Confucius Temple and the Academy in Wenchang. Wenchang, Wenchang, this name means cultural prosperity. I wonder if it is because of this place name that the culture here is prosperous.
When I came out of the parking lot, I saw a banner at the gate of the Fu Family Ancestral Hall, celebrating a student named Fu Haibao who was admitted to Peking University this year, bringing honor to his ancestors!
Entering the Confucius Temple, I saw two tall coconut trees standing on both sides of the Lingxing Gate, defining the unique delicacy of the Confucius Temple in Hainan Province.
In the drizzle, I saw the statue of Confucius standing solemnly against the red wall, making people admire and yearn for it.
Next door is the Academy, with corridors and classrooms, well preserved. Part of it has become an exhibition hall for famous people in Hainan, and of course, the three Soong sisters must be placed at the forefront.

Another important cultural attraction is the Dongpo Academy in Danzhou. Su Shi lived in exile in Danzhou, Hainan for five years, and he already regarded himself as a Hainanese, "I am originally a Danzhou person, living in Xishu Prefecture. Suddenly crossing the sea, it is like going on a distant journey." Su Dongpo had a great impact on the development of education in Hainan. He opened the trend of reading and broke the precedent of the imperial examination in a place outside the world, achieving his life's achievements and making the local people grateful to this day.

Su Dongpo, such a male god, was already a phenomenal talent in the ancient Song Dynasty, a person of true feelings and nature, open-minded and generous, who never collapsed in character until his death, but was loved by people all his life, and even loved forever.
His five years in Hainan left Hainan not just an academy, but a line of cultural heritage.
