A Fairytale Coastal Village You Haven't Been To Yet!!! 🌊🏠

You may not have heard of Xiaoru Village at first, but when I mention Qicai Fishing Village in Wenling, Taizhou, Zhejiang, you might recall the name. This little fishing village is located by the sea, and the sunset here is breathtaking! The sunlight spills across the horizon, creating a magical scene.

However, my visit didn’t exactly match my expectations—let me share my true thoughts about Qicai Fishing Village! 😎✨

How to Get to Xiaoru Village from Nanjing:
Train and Bus: From Nanjing to Wenling, it’s about a 3-hour journey plus transfer to bus F232.
Transportation Around Xiaoru Village:
From Wenling Train Station: You can either take a shared car or catch the 232 bus across the street from the station. It takes about an hour to reach the village. The bus follows a schedule, so check for times via the "Wenling City Card" app.
Bus Ends at Ruoshan Station: From there, you’ll need to take a moped or motorcycle ride into the village. Be warned that holidays might bring heavy traffic!
Photography and Play Routes:
Take a walk along the coast... enjoy some seafood noodles and rice cakes... leisurely explore Qicai Xiaoru Village... then head to Qilin Mountain to catch the sunset.

Must-Visit Spots:
Xiaoru Village: The village buildings are straight out of a fairy tale. It’s a bit of a climb up some stairs, but the walk isn’t tiring. The narrow alleys make for perfect portrait photography spots. There's a spot called DeDo Cafe, a classic photo-worthy place. A little further up is Lindo, a café with a foreign-style decor—perfect for stunning photos!

Qilin Mountain: Right across from Xiaoru Village, you can start your hike from Tianhou Temple. It takes about half an hour to reach the top—it's a gentle climb with clear trail markers. During sunset, the light is gentle and warm. From the halfway point or the summit, you get an amazing panoramic view of the village. The viewpoints are truly stunning! 🌅
