Many years ago, I visited Sanyang Wetland. At that time, the wetland park was just a wetland with almost no tourists. This time, I came to Sanyang Wetland again, and the wetland has completely changed. It has become a veritable "urban green lung" of Wenzhou. Sanyang Wetland covers a total area of 10.67 square kilometers and is the most complete water network wetland in Wenzhou. It consists of 161 islands and 138 rivers, forming a water network landscape of "floating on the sea and wandering in the water," earning it the nickname "Venice of Southern Zhejiang."

Sanyang Wetland has many entrances, and tourists usually choose the north and west entrances. The north entrance has more cultural attractions, such as Centennial Island, Children's Playground, Rapeseed Field, Wufu Garden, Nan Huai Jin Academy, Banyan Garden, and a painting boat dock. The west entrance is close to Wuyue Plaza, and Jiaye Hotel, Bowen Cottage, DUCK Camping Base, Fashion Island, and Camellia Garden are closer to this side, and there is also a painting boat dock.

The Ougan flowers and rapeseed flowers in spring, the green fields and sunsets in summer, the yellow water chestnuts, Ougan, and rice in autumn, and the reeds, redwoods, ginkgo, and plum blossoms in winter, Sanyang Wetland has its own colors in spring, summer, autumn, and winter. In addition to taking a painting boat and slowly enjoying the changing scenery on both sides of the river, you can also rent an electric bicycle in the scenic area and stop at any place you like. Of course, my most recommended way is to bring a pair of running shoes and measure the lake and water of the wetland with your feet.
