This Hidden Gem is hidden deep inside the forest; itβs in the Kinabalu National Park, Sabah.
This is Mount Kinabalu Botanical Garden, which houses thousands of flora (and some fauna).
To get here, you can take the boring route: by car. Or do it like us, by taking the Silau-Silau Trail from the Kinabalu Park Office / Headquarters. Park your vehicle at the Liwagu Restaurant, and take a light, scenic trail downhill to the Taman Botanic.
This less than 30 minutes trail will reward you with a small river, a tiny waterfall, and photographic mossy forest scene.
The entrance fee of the botanical garden is RM 5 (international) or RM4 (local) for adults, and RM 2 less for child tickets.
Itβs not a large garden, but donβt underestimate the lush greenery around you- itβs so peaceful and beautiful here!
πAddress: Botanical Garden, Kinabalu National Park, Sabah, Malaysia
