Cataract Gorge Reserve Launceston Rapids Gorge

Located right in the city, no admission fee required, and there's a parking lot at the entrance. It's a great spot for a family outing, with a recommended visit duration of about 2-3 hours. The chairlift requires a ticket, but it's worth the ride—very relaxing. Near the station, you'll find peacocks and kangaroos that are not afraid of people, making it easy to take photos. Within the park, you can follow the trails to the gorge and suspension bridge area. In autumn, the park is adorned with red and yellow maple leaves, perfect for capturing beautiful photos.
