The wind passes over glaciers, snow falls in Western Sichuan

As the off-road vehicle climbs along the winding mountain road, the scenery outside the window gradually transitions from lush forests to sparse meadows, and finally, the view is suddenly locked by an extreme whiteness—that is the snow-capped mountains of Western Sichuan, standing between heaven and earth with an undeniable presence.

They are not isolated but a group of silent giants standing shoulder to shoulder, forming a continuous barrier. The snow on the peaks glistens coldly under the sunlight, like scattered diamonds cast by God, while the clouds and mist wrapped around the mid-mountain add a touch of ethereal mystique to this grandeur. The wind blows from deep within the glacier, carrying ancient chill; when it brushes your cheek, you can almost hear the faint cracking of the ice layers—traces of time etched on the snow mountains.

At the foot of the mountain, prayer flags flutter in the wind, with scriptures printed on the colorful strips of cloth. Each sway is a sign of reverence and prayer to nature. Occasionally, you can see travelers with backpacks, tightening their jackets, stepping steadily toward higher ground. Their footprints leave shallow marks on the snow, soon covered by newly fallen snowflakes.

Standing here, words suddenly become pale. You will understand why some say the snow mountains of Western Sichuan are a "cure for everything"—when you look up at that pure white, when you feel the biting cold wind pass through your collar, when you watch the clouds slowly drift over the mountain peaks, all irritations and anxieties are instantly cleared away. Only the heartbeat and the sound of the wind resonate together, only the snow mountains in your sight remain, becoming the most striking backdrop in your memory. The snow here has fallen for millions of years, witnessing countless journeys and pauses, and everyone who comes here can find their own peace and strength in this pure white.
