The Ancient Dunes of Sossusvlei & Deadvlei 🏜️

Climbing Big Daddy dune was a challenge, but the view of Deadvlei—dead trees on cracked white clay—was surreal. It felt like walking through an art installation.

Entry to the park is around $10.

Tip: Camp inside the park to arrive at sunrise to beat the heat and the crowds.

Fun fact: The dunes here are among the tallest in the world, over 300m high!
