🌞Cool Route Itinerary
8:00 AM:
Take a stroll in the Tingtao Scenic Area, where century-old phoenix trees line the lake, providing full shade! You can also see many locals doing morning exercises by the lake.

Head to East Lake Ocean World to escape the heat, with a constant temperature of 18°C. Watching penguins and jellyfish is super soothing~ Don’t forget to check in at the underwater tunnel!

12:00 PM:
Recommended lunch at "Hubin Guesthouse" by the lake, dining in the waterside pavilion with a cool breeze. Be sure to order Wuchang fish and lotus root soup!

3:00 PM:
Take an East Lake boat cruise (recommended departure from Chufengyuan Pier), the lake surface is at least 5 degrees cooler than the shore. Evening cruises are suggested for beautiful sunsets!

Go cycling on the East Lake Greenway, it’s especially cool by the lake at night. Recommended to start from the Botanical Garden section, with streetlights all along the way for safety.
